Oh how can I describe with words what it feels like, in sub-saharian Africa, to see the clouds above the dusty earth? It is an incredible feeling, a moment out of time when you are praying the rain to finally fall, hoping for the burning sun to rest, listening to the whispering trees that are thirsty to the death... If you have lived in Africa, you know what it feels like.
That's how it seems like here uring Hamatan, the dry season where it doesn't rain for weeks and weeks. The air is always dry ans stuffy and running is murderous unless you want to end up hyperventalating. lol
Where in Africa did you take this?

Isn't it? I think only people who have lived in such a climate can fully understand what I mean. That was in Burkina-Faso, near a very little village called Boussouma.

Ah I know the feeling When I was living in Botswana we used to go outside and wait for the rain. You could always smell when it was coming. Great photo, and perfect comment.

Death had tried firey steeds and skeletal horses in the past and found them impractical, especially the fiery ones, which tended to set light to their own bedding and stand in the middle of it looking embarrassed

The composition of this piece is great. It gives so much depth.
And maybe some ambient or african music can help the peacefulness as well.
