Description
Hey everyone.
I just came back from a one-week vacation in Brittany ([link]) and since there are still major internet issues at home, I am currently at my brother's place.
Hope you're all fine.
Anyway, one of the locations we went to was, of course, the forest of Brocéliande.
For those who don't know about this place, Brocéliande is the name of the legendary forest that first appears in literature in 1160, in the Roman de Rou, a verse chronicle written by Wace.
Brocéliande is a notable place of legend because of its uncertain location, unusual weather, and its ties with Arthurian Romance, most notably a magical fountain (which I've seen) and the tomb of the legendary figure Merlin.

And the hike was indeed magical. So, this is the first picture of a small series dedicated to this wonderful forest where the Lady of the Lake is said to live...
Full view (and even download) is recommended.

Lovely photo! The area looks very calming. (I got your postcard last weekend, by the way. Thanks! I haven't e-mailed you yet because I didn't know if you had access to your account.)
