Forest Encounter by Bintavivi Forest Encounter by Bintavivi
The most beautiful thing I saw today. :aww:

It was such a beautiful day (well, it still is, really) that I just had to go for a rather long walk in the forest.
And after almost an hour...my patience was rewarded beyond anything I could have hoped for.

I saw a dozen stags/deer running away (from me, I suppose).
Those two were the only ones who stayed behind for some reason, and I didn't dare to come any closer to get a better view because I didn't want them to scare them...

And most importantly, because I didn't want to ruin the only chance I had to take a picture under the shelter of the trees. :)

Now, I have several cuts and bruises to clean because some bushes didn't want me to pass, but hey...it was totally worth it.

I love Nature.

Sologne, France.

I can imagine that, some things which nature does are just so beautiful that not even a good photo can describe it, the best is to see it in person.^^

I feel like any moment, a fairy is going to appear and sprinkle sparkly feel-really-happy fairy dust over everything--yes it happened!

OH!! It's so cool to hear from you! :boogie:

I wish I had a better zoom. I would have been able to get a better look without getting closer. Ah, well. When I have enough money, I'll invest! ^^;
And yep, you should! Sologne is one of the most beautiful parts of France. :)

Watch The Last Unicorn or something. :meow:

Maaaan, it's been such a long time since I last watched that one. Now I have the songs by America playing in my head...

When the last eagle flies
Over the last crumbling mountain
And the last lion roars
At the last dusty fountain...

"No sacrifice(gesturing to cuts and bruises), no victory!(gesturing to nice picture)" XDDD Guess where I got the quote from!

Nice job here, and it's a good thing you got them before they left!

No idea, but it reminds me a quote in the French play "Le Cid", by Corneille.

"A vaincre sans péril, on triomphe sans gloire" =>> tirumph with no peril brings no glory :)

Thanks!! =D

So green... Everything where i am is still either brown or white, so it's nice to see some grass and leaves.
